Oregon Environmental Health Association Conference to be held in Lincoln City, Oregon from October 27-29, 2026.
Congrats to the AEC Planning Committee members! Once again, they have secured a hotel and dates early for this year's Annual Education Conference. Save the date for three days of education, networking, and fun from October 27th to October 29th, 2026. The conference will be held at the Chinook Winds Casino Resort.

NEHA Board of Director Elections are coming up!
Did you know NEHA holds annual elections for their Board of Directors? The Board positions being voted on this cycle can be seen on the NEHA Board of Directors 2026-2027 Elections page. If you're interested in learning more about this process and about the candidates for the 2nd Vice President position, feel free to join the Zoom meeting linked below which will occur on February 23rd at 4pm Eastern Time. Please note that only active members of NEHA are eligible to vote in NEHA Board elections.

National Environmental Public Health Internship Program (NEPHIP)
Looking for an intern to help with special projects next summer? NEHA's NEPHIP program is an excellent, and free(!), way for local environmental health agencies to host an intern and help build the next generation of EH throughout the country. It's free for agencies to apply, and the intern is paid up to $8,000 for a 400 hour internship. Your county may even receive a $1,500 to help cover costs of onboarding and any equipment for the student. Applications for environmental health agencies are open now!
