Governor Kate Brown has proclaimed that Monday, April 18, 2022 is Environmental Health Specialist and Wastewater Specialist Day in Oregon, due to the role of EHSs and Wastewater Specialists in striving to protect the health of the public by reducing or eliminating environmental health risk factors that cause human suffering, disease and injury.
